Children & Family Ministries
Point your kids in the right direction —when they’re old they won’t be lost. ~Proverbs 22:6
Our vision at St. Luke’s is kids who love God as they grow in their faith journey with their families, sharing His love through service to others.
Our Mission: We meet Kids and Parents wherever they are, revealing God’s Story through interactive Bible exploration and worship in the Episcopal tradition, and embracing our broader community through service to those outside our church walls.
Children & Family Ministries is excited about opportunities to connect with our Church Family!

Little Liturgy
As part of our Nursery time, we offer a safe, healthy, and nurturing experience for all children 0-5 years. Children participate in Little Liturgy, a special worship experience geared just for them. We incorporate Godly Play methodology into our worship experience with these littlest of our church family, telling stories and engaging in activities or crafts to highlight the message being taught that day. Little Liturgy occurs before the Peace, allowing parents to bring their kids upstairs for the Communion portion of the larger service.
The role of Children and Family Ministries at St. Luke’s on the Lake is to support parents in raising their children to have a strong, deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We serve children and their families from infancy through 12th grade. Everything we do is founded on Scripture, with an emphasis on how to apply the timeless truths presented in the Bible to our own lives TODAY! We try hard to keep God's Word fresh, alive, interesting, and relevant.
Our Nursery Ministry - we offer a safe, healthy, and nurturing experience for all precious children ages 0-4 whose parents are participating in our services and programs.
Children's Christmas Pageant - dress your elementary-aged child as an angel, a shepherd, or an animal as we reenact the Nativity! Watch for details in November!
Volunteers in Children’s and Family Ministries - we can't do this ministry without the dedicated support of dozens of volunteers. Please let us know if God is calling you to help
